    Abstract

Completeness of the Integrated Patient Progress Note (CPPT) is an important indicator in ensuring the quality of nursing documentation, continuity of care, and patient safety in hospitals. Nurses, as healthcare workers with the highest contact intensity with patients, play a central role in completing the CPPT. However, in practice, the completeness of the CPPT remains a challenge influenced by various factors. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the completeness of CPPT completion by nurses in inpatient wards. This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach involving 179 nurses as respondents. Data were collected through CPPT document audits and structured questionnaires. Data analysis was performed univariately, bivariately using the chi-square test, and multivariately using logistic regression. The results showed that the majority of nurses completed the CPPT completely (104 nurses (58.1%). There was a significant relationship between workload (p=0.012), length of service (p=0.018), education level (p=0.006), and CPPT training (p<0.001) with the completeness of CPPT completion. Multivariate analysis showed that CPPT training was the most dominant factor influencing the completeness of CPPT completion, with an odds ratio (OR) of 3.4 (95% CI: 1.9–6.1). The study concluded that both individual and organizational factors play a role in nurses' CPPT completion. CPPT training was the most influential factor, so hospitals need to strengthen training programs and supervision of nursing documentation to improve service quality.
